Fontina dop

Cheese produced in the Valle d'Aosta with raw cow's milk. The wind is washed and thin, with a characteristic deposit in a brown-orange colour, soft. The cheese is elastic, unctuous, with fine-medium sized holes, unevenly distributed with a straw-colour. It is a cheese with an intense flavour and excellent persistence in the mouth. Perfect for the production of fondues or warm creams.

 

INGREDIENTS: milk, salt, rennet, lactic cultures.

TYPE OF MILK: cow's milk.

MILK TREATMENT: raw.

RIPENING: minimum 90 days.

AVAILABILITY: all year.
